Everynight: Prologue: First Draft
A downloadable game
This game is really funny to look back on now, almost four years later. If you decide to play this game and you know me at all as a person, you'll know exactly what I mean by "funny to look back on now". I had big plans for a whole sprawling story at the time of making this game. Obviously none of those plans came to fruition, which is for the best (they were not good plans.) This game isn't fun to play, the writing is bad, and the visuals are all default assets. There is little reason to ever play this game. But it's still a part of my history, and an important one at that, so I think it's worth staying up on my page, for now. A little under a year after I made this game, I remade it (under the name Everynight,) which you can find on my page and play. It's so silly how I made a second iteration of a game about someone being trans and I STILL didn't realize who I was for a few more months. That newer version of this game is much more bearable but still nothing worth playing, beyond seeing my history, I suppose. Alas, I'll leave it up anyway, for now.
You are tasked to destroy the evil Iio and stop him from destroying The World. That's about all there is to say. That is exactly what you'll be doing in this game and there is nothing else to say.

I have to say, I really enjoyed this! All the little details in the NPCs were great! I did both endings after the game, and they really intrigued me. I'm really excited to see what happens with Beth and her brother, and Jessica too. Also, I hope we'll get more explanation as to who the character is at the start that gives Beth the staff.
I know this is a draft, but one minor problem is the enemies. I feel like they were too overpowered and when Jessica died, I never had any items that could revive her.
Anyway, once again, this was a really fun experience and I'm excited for the future entries! :D
Thanks for the comment! I went back and balanced some things, so hopefully the enemies will be less of a problem this time.
